Principal Dani Baker took over Vocademy in 2016 and has since poured her heart, passion and knowledge into making it the quality training hub it is today. Principal Dani likes to keep an emphasis on team work, encouragement and opportunities for all students no matter their age or ability which is why Vocademy students consistently excel in their chosen instrument.
There's our 1-1 lessons in SINGING, PIANO, GUITAR, DRUMS, BASS and UKULELE for adults and children 7+ with Tutors in various locations around Maidstone. Lessons are tailored to each student individually to help you achieve the goals you've chosen and regular gigs, open mics and showcases to perfect your skills and become the Artist YOU want to be!

Meet Our Tutors
Principal Dani Baker
Principal Vocal Coach and Company Director
Dani started her vocal training at the age of 11 studying Classical and Musical Theatre. At 18 she gained an ABRSM Grade VIII Distinction in vocals and started performing at Weddings and corporate events. Dani then went on to create a Funk infused Ska band writing original material as well as putting a twist on well-known Jazz Standards.
Dani has recently completed Level 1 and 2 Estill Vocal Training and continues to improve her knowledge and skill set by attending workshops and master classes on a regular basis.
Dani now works as a session singer, a wedding and event soloist covering all genres and fronts Traditional Ska band The Scorchers Rocksteady Band
"My passion for singing just keeps growing, I think it's the perfect way to express and de-stress! When working with students my main focus is teaching them to have complete control and manipulation of their voice, whilst always focusing on safe technique and vocal care. My aim is to inspire them to love singing as much as I do!".
Adri was born in Hungary to a family of professional musicians. Her parents, both violinists, play for one of the most prestigious orchestras in the country. From the age of 5, Adri started to attend singing groups and receive music theory (Solfegio) and violin lessons. In her early teens, she was involved in various Musical Theatre productions, including playing a lead role in the musical 'Oliver Twist' in the National Theatre of Hungary. Since that time, singing became her main passion, and was developed further with classical training in her later teenage years.
Adri moved to the UK in 2009 and became fluent in English. She studied at BIMM London and graduated as a vocalist with an Honours Degree in Popular Music Performance. It was there that she met her musician husband, and they came to settle in Maidstone in 2015.
Adri has taught private singing lessons for a number of years, and is working with both school choirs and with adult choirs for SingingNation UK. She attends Hillsong Church in Tonbridge and regularly serves there as Worship Leader and Vocal Director. She is not only a gifted performer, but is a passionate vocal coach who loves to develop each singer's unique vocal qualities through intricate vocal technique. She loves to work with people of all ages and abilities, always looking to bring out the best in each individual.
After achieving a BA (Hons) 2:1 Performing Arts and Vocal Tech Diploma in Popular Music, Krystina has worked as a Lead Vocalist and Actress since 2007.
Teaching since 2010, Krystina brings a wealth of experience to her classes. She teaches Singing & Drama for Kent Performing Arts Schools, has run preschool music workshops in London and taught Singing for the Tempo Theatre School in Cyprus.
Her credits include "Thatss Entertainment", "Shooting Star T.I.E. Tours", "Chaplins Pantomimes", "Presumed Innocent Shows", "Royal Caribbean Cruises", "Thomas Cook Weddings", "Thomson Gold", and "My Travel".
Krystina has also performed with the National Westminster Choir and recorded vocals for the Adidas World Cup advert 2010.
Krystina currently tours a solo Decades Tribute, Country Tribute and fronts 5 piece covers band "The Reps" and the 11 piece "InterSeptors Showband".
Lauren has been training with our Principal Tutor Dani Baker for over 7 years and began Vocademy Tutor Training in 2018.
Lauren has been performing for over 7 years and continues to work establishing herself as a versatile professional vocalist. Lauren is now continuing her tutor training with Dani, preparing for her RSL Grade 8 Vocal exam and has recently started building a client-base of 7-12yr old students.
Luke has Studied the guitar for over a decade learning from some of the country's leading guitar educators. From his time studying at Canterbury Christchurch University he has focused on the musical education of students of all ranges and abilities with an in depth knowledge of singing, musicianship and performance.
Luke offers Instrumental lessons in Primarily Guitar whether that be acoustic or electric and the Bass guitar. If you want to learn Rock, Pop, blues and all genres in between from the commercial music industry. Fun and tailored to the student lessons aimed to develop musical understanding and Guitar playing Skills.
Luke currently Fronts a band playing originals and a wide range of covers at venues and events around the region. In which he both sings and plays Guitar
Aran is our brand new drum tutor, qualified with Rockschool Grade 8. He also has a degree in Music Production for Media and is a freelance composer.
Aran is in multiple local bands who perform regularly, including The Paper Castles & Stacey And The Freeloaders. He uses both his production skills and drumming knowledge to give you a state of the art lesson, in his home studio in Bearsted.
Tura is a new and enthusiastic contemporary piano tutor who also specialises in composition and music theory. She has completed a Level 3 BTEC extended diploma in music with the grade Distinction, Distinction, Merit. She is also currently studying commercial music performance at university as a contemporary pianist and has completed year one with a first.
Outside of this, Tura composes for piano, voice and orchestra and has played numerous gigs as a singer/songwriter over the past six years. She also writes musical theatre productions and her original, contemporary ballet, ‘Cold White Marble,’ is due to open in September 2020.
Tura is incredibly passionate and excited about teaching and strongly believes that learning music should always be an enjoyable experience; tailoring lessons to suit individual goals. She can also offer guidance with composition and theory if interested.
