Free Singing Workshops for schools

Vocademy runs singing workshops for schools, intended to encourage young people to discover singing, and to develop personally through singing.

All of our Schools singing Workshops are free, with the exception of a Live Performance Workshop for which we bring a live band into school.

We will tailor workshops and master classes for school groups from Key Stages 2 – 4, and are pleased to discuss ideas with teachers, school administrators or parents nominated by their child’s school to organise a workshop.

All of our tutors are experienced singing teachers and are CRB checked. Vocademy carries £10 million public liability cover.

Vocal Workshop 1 (suitable for all ages)

Cost – free

A 45 minute group workshop led by an experienced Vocademy tutor. The class includes warm up exercises and basic technique building while learning a basic pop song to perform to a backing track.

Making A Living In The Music Industry Masterclass

Cost – free

A 30-60 minute Masterclass designed for high school children over the age of 14. This class is taken by one of our tutors and a music industry guest and covers a brief overview of how the music industry works and looks at realistic ways by which it is possible to earn a living or supplementary income from being a musician/singer.

Live Performance Workshop

Cost – £70

Our Live Performance Workshop is a fun 1 hour class with a live band. Suitable for all ages, this class builds confidence by teaching vocal techniques while students perform as a solo artist/groups with a live band.

The Workshop is suitable for bigger groups and is always a huge success. We bring the P.A system and everything else that is needed. All we require from you is a room where we can make a bit of noise and some students who want to have some fun and get involved.
