Vocademy Talent Shines on the Mic

Ellie Earl from Vocademy Worthing has impressed Judges at Open Mic UK auditions has made it through to the regional finals and will now be performing at the live showcases of Open Mic UK 2011 at great venues! She is now competing for a place in the National Final where she would perform at the O2 where she will have the chance to grab a breakthrough recording contract.

Ellie: Its a great oppurtinity for me to get through to the regional finals of open mic. I have dreamed of singing since I was tiny, and have tried for open mic before, but didn’t get this far, so its really exciting!

We will keep you up to date with how Ellie gets on, she will need all the support from fellow Vocad’s that she can get and we know we can rely on ou guys to help her :0)

Winners of Open Mic UK will not only get to perform at The O2 at Live Fest but will also be thrust into the media spotlight through TV and radio. Last yr’s under 16′s winner Hatty Keane has been signed to BGM music and has recently been a support act to Tynchy Stryder and Roll Deep. Another past winner you may recoginse the name of is Birdy who recently had a number 1 single with “Skinny Love” and has now been signed to Warner – great opportinities for these young singers!
