ZSL London Zoo are launching a big appeal,this Christmas they were trying to get as many followers on twitter as possible. This may sound like a simple request but without our dedicated animal followers we wouldn’t be unable to complete our super duper conservation work around the world. That’s right, ZSL is a charity committed to the worldwide conservation of animals and their habitats.Before we could say ’10,000 followers’ singing school Vocademy were knocking on the ZSL London Zoo door offering to join us for a jolly twitter sing-a-long. After writing a spectacular song that had the reindeer dashing for Santa’s grotto, they hummed ‘A fishy feast at Penguin Beach’ as Rudolph stopped by and greeted Ricky the Rockhopper with a merry nuzzle.
Lucinda Bristow director of Vocademy said: “Vocademy think there is nothing better than animals, singing and Christmas, so we have put together a song for the best zoo in the world…ZSL London Zoo!”
We hope the campaign will be a roaring success and as a thank you we’d like to give something back to our dedicated followers. So for every Friday in December we will be giving away a fantastic prize with Follow Friday (ff). All you need to do is become an animal tweep and follow us on Twitter.
