Vocademy Students Day Out

Phil Cummings at Sennheiser and Susanne Buck at The British Music Experience at the O2 Arena in London kindly gave away tickets for Vocademy students to go and have a great day out.

Vocademy students aged from kids to adults had a great day learning all about the fantastic musical history of Britain, got to look at hand written lyrics and costumes worn by some of our most prestigious musical icons. They then went on to learn to play guitar, bass, drums keys and also had a go at singing along to their favourite tracks in the vocal booth at the Gibson Interactive Studio. The whole experience was recorded on an interactive card which could then be uploaded once the students had got home so they could see and hear everything that was covered throughout the day.

Shani Kinsella (Student) – 'what an amazing day! Thanks to the generosity of Sennheiser and BME we were given a great opportunity to research music history and combine it with a fun day out learning or should I say 'playing' with the musical instruments! The day was topped off when I got home and listened to my attempts on the BME website! Definitely a great day out!!'

How do I sign up to a Vocademy course?

Every new student will be invited to a FREE 30 minute assessment. This informal assessment is an opportunity to meet a tutor to talk through the Vocademy courses.

Students will be asked to perform a track (of their choice) and chat about their experiences and what they would like to achieve from lessons. A suitable course will then be recommended, based on the student’s age, experience and technical ability. Singing is something to enjoy, whether you are looking to become the next Rock God, Queen of Ballads, or if you are looking for somewhere to sing your heart out without people telling you to be quiet, Vocademy is definitely for you!
